"Rosbalt": Ramzan Kadyrov claims moral harm in case of attempt on him

Ramzan Kadyrov has personally testified in the case on the failed attempt on him, the "Rosbalt" reports. According to the edition, Ramzan Kadyrov has said that he was harmed morally, but he has not filed any claim.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 28, the Gudermes City Court sentenced Aziz Alviev, Beslan Zakaraev, and Shamkhan Magomadov, three defendants in the case of the attempted assassination of the Chechen leader, for 6.5 years in a high-security penal colony.

In September 2016, it became known about the prevention of an attempt on the leader of Chechnya. Three suspects were detained in the case, including Aziz Alviev, a former body guard of Isa Yamadaev, Beslan Zakaraev, a former fighter of the battalion "Vostok", and his neighbour Shamkhan Magomadov.

According to Ramzan Kadyrov, each of the people who committed the assassination attempt was to receive 100,000 US dollars. The Chechen leader said that he often came to his native village, and the criminals planned to install an explosive device on the road to it.

"The questioned Chechen officials voiced the same testimony, equal as a carbon copy. They say that one can reach the native village of Ramzan Kadyrov only by one road that is not permanently guarded," the newspaper reports.

Meanwhile, the plotters did not have any information about the route and time of the Ramzan Kadyrov's movement.

According to investigators, the failed assassination attempt was organized by the Yamadaev family members, who were considered to be "blood enemies" of the Chechen leader. Earlier, Isa Yamadaev and Ramzan Kadyrov got reconciled. However, experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe the reconciliation was of formal nature.
