Georgian citizen released after detention on Abkhazian border

Tengiz Mikava, detained at the border with Abkhazia on August 10, returned to the village of Tkaia. This was reported by the Georgian State Security Service (SSS).

The resident of the Zugdidi District of Georgia was detained on suspicion of illegally crossing the border.

On the day of the Tengiz Mikava's detention, the State Security Service of Georgia reported that to observers from the mission of the European Union, the "Our Abkhazia" reports.

On August 11, the Georgian SSS reported that the detainee returned home, the "InterPressNews" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 9, Uta Samushiya, a resident of a Georgian village on the border with Abkhazia, was detained and released on the other day.
