Armenian tourist injured in Hurghada discharged from resuscitation ward
Physicians estimate the condition of a 46-year-old Armenian woman injured during the armed attack on a hotel in Hurghada as severe but stable.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 14, a man with a knife attacked tourists on the Egyptian resort of Hurghada. Two Armenian citizens were injured, meanwhile one of them helped to neutralize the attacker.
The woman got injuries to her liver, diaphragm, and vessels. Professor Artak Ovannisyan, the chief of the general and thoracic surgery clinic of the "Erebuni" Medical Centre, flew to Cairo to consult Egyptian colleagues.
According to him, the decision on transportation of the woman to Armenia will be made when her condition improves. She has been discharged from a resuscitation ward to a regular one.
At present, the woman has breathing problems, the "Sputnik Armenia" reports.
