According to Mike Pence, US President Donald Trump sent him to Georgia with a message: "We support you; we stand next to you, next to the Georgian people."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that US Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Georgia on July 31. During his visit on July 31-August 1, he met Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Mike Pence has confirmed that the United States continues to support the territorial integrity of Georgia and "will continue to search for new ways" to strengthen its defence potential.
