Ryazan woman reports her husband's liberation from labour slavery in Dagestan
A man who disappeared in Ryazan in February was kept as a labour slave at an enterprise in Makhachkala for almost five months. This has been reported by his wife.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that activists of the movement "Alternative", engaged in liberation of people from labour slavery, reported about the practice of forced labour at brick factories in Dagestan. The Prosecutor's Office refuted the activists' statements.
"Recruiters" are looking for potential workers at train stations in Moscow, Saratov, and other major cities.
According to the wife of 38-year-old Igor Klyushin, on February 16, her husband left the home to buy some bread and did not return. He did not have a mobile phone or a passport with him. Five months later, he called his wife and told her that he met a man who offered him a job.
The woman reported that according to her husband, he drank alcoholic drinks together with his new acquaintance and then regained consciousness already in Makhachkala. He managed to escape in five months only, the "Rzn.info" reports.
The wife of Igor Klyushin explained that her husband "stole a mobile phone and called" her to report to the police. "He himself fled together with two men through the mountains to the centre of Makhachkala. However, they were caught, and he hid in bushes," reported the wife of Igor Klyushin as quoted by the "Ya62.ru".
According to the woman, at present, law enforcers take care of her husband and he feels well.
