In Kuban, school-leaver gets no certificate because of his debts for breakfast
In Kuban, a school-leaver of the ninth form was not given his certificate at a school-leaving party because of his debts for school meals in the amount of 600 roubles. He got the document on the day after the solemn ceremony, his mother reported.
According to the woman, the issuance of the school-leaving certificate for her son was delayed by the administration of the secondary school No. 16 in the village of Ilskoye.
The woman has noted that "it was at least unpleasant to spoil the holiday for the boy for such an insignificant reason." The mother of the school-leaver has also added that she had paid the debts in advance, but the money did not enter the school's account in due time.
The school administration brought its apologies to the school-leaver. The school principal called the incident "a misunderstanding," the "South-Times" reports.
