MIA fails to confirm information about attack on former chief of Buynaksk ROVD

The information that an unidentified person threw three grenades into the yard of the house belonging to Rustam Abdurakhmanov, the former chief of the ROVD (District Interior Division) for the Buynaksk District, was not confirmed. This was reported by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 19, in Amet-Khan Sultan Avenue in Makhachkala, an unidentified man threw three grenades into the yard of the house of a district police inspector and then disappeared in a car. Two grenades exploded, but no one was hurt. According to an informed source, the incident occurred in the village of Korkmaskala of the Kumtorkala District in the yard of the house belonging to Rustam Abdurakhmanov, the former chief of the ROVD for the Buynaksk District, the "Interfax" reported on June 19.

"The incident occurred in Akhmedkhan   Sultan Street... An attacker threw three grenades into a yard of a policeman's house. Two grenades exploded, and one did not. No one was injured", the "Interfax-South" quotes an official from the Dagestani MIA's press service as reporting.
