Five persons detained in Abkhazia on suspicion of links with IS

The State Security Service (SSS) of Abkhazia has detained five Tajik citizens, suspected of involvement in the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia.

According to the Service, the detention was carried out today in cooperation with the Russia's FSB.

"After carrying out the necessary actions, the detainees were handed over to the Russian party," says the message posted on the website of the Abkhaz SSS.
