Khasavyurt resident sentenced to 13.5 years for links with militants
The Khasavyurt City Court found Arsen Guseinov guilty of complicity with and financing a group of militants and sentenced him to 13.5 years in a high-security colony.
The court has found that in 2016 in Khasavyurt Guseinov helped a militant with food and clothes. He also gave 20,000 roubles to another militant to support his grouping. Besides, he kept ammunition and explosive devices, the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office has stated.
The Office's website reports that Guseinov was sentenced to 13.5 years at a high-security colony, restriction of freedom for another 1.5 years and a fine of 20,000 roubles.
