Two persons killed in Chechen mountains
According to law enforcers, two armed men were first to open fire, and were killed in a shootout, a law enforcement source from the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) said today.
According to the source, the shootout occurred in a wooded area in the mountains of the Urus-Martan District of Chechnya, when operative-search actions were conducted there.
Power agents noticed two armed men, demanded from them to lay down their arms and come out into the open area, the source asserts. However, the men opened fire and were killed.
Nobody was hurt from among power agents; after the shooting, they began screening the neighbourhood, the source quoted by the “Interfax” reports.
