Krasnodar court suspends consideration of Degterevs’ eviction

The consideration of the appeal against the court judgement to evict Nadezhda Degtereva and her mother has been suspended for six months. The Territorial Court has made this judgement in connection with the death of Nadezhda Degtereva, said the advocate Olga Sizonova.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September 2016 Nadezhda Degtereva (earlier, her surname was written as Degtyaryova) and her mother reported that their apartment in Sochi was secretly resold. According to their story, other townspeople had also suffered from similar fraudulent schemes of "black realtors".

On the New Year night, Nadezhda Degtereva attempted a suicide. According to her mother, Nadezhda’s state was influenced by hreats demanding to leave the apartment. On January 27, it became known that Degtereva had committed suicide.

The advocate has noted that the defence hopes to open "criminal cases on the fraud with the apartment, and on bring Nadezhda Degtereva to suicide."
