Doctor report better health condition of wounded son-in-law of Giorgi Margvelashvili
Mindiya Gogochuri, a son-in-law of the President of Georgia, and his friend, who were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, are on the mend. Doctors estimate their condition is satisfactory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 11, Gogochuri was wounded in the centre of Tbilisi. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) opened a criminal case on the intentional infliction of light bodily harm and on illegal arms circulation. On January 12, doctors said his friend was also hospitalized; both were operated on.
Mindiya Gogochuri and his friend show positive dynamics of health recovery, the "Georgia-Online" reports with reference to the attending physician Ilya Tsereteli, who added that Gogochuri has a lower leg wound, and his friend – a non-penetrating wound in the chest.
According to the Georgia's MIA, Giorgi Margvelashvili's son-in-law has already given evidence to investigators. So far, no one has been detained within the opened criminal case, the "Sputnik-Georgia" reports, referring to the Georgian TV company "Imedi".
