Sochi Prosecutor's Office finds no violations of rights of disabled Vadim Urkunov
The Prosecutor's Office has found no reason for taking action in response to the complaints filed by disabled Vadim Urkunov against officials and entrepreneurs, who went to court and legalized unsanctioned buildings on house land plots in Sochi. Meantime, the 75-year-old disabled man himself cannot defend his right to have a garage near his house.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vadim Urkunov filed complaints against officials who during 10 years refused him the right to legalize a garage on a land plot allocated to him near the house where he lived. The city administration and the court refused the disabled man in his request.
Vadim Urkunov has appealed to the Ombudsman for the Krasnodar Territory, and he has sent the letter to the Prosecutor's Office.
According to the response of the supervisory authority, the courts have recognized the ownership of the buildings constructed by the citizens, mentioned by the disable man in his letter.
