Sochi court marshals demand to evict family of "Olympic settlers" from boarding house

A court marshal has ordered the Martynov spouses to move out of the room in the "Neptune" boarding house, which was allocated to them from the reserve housing fund during the preparation for the Winter Olympic Games in 2014. During the resettlement, it turned out that five years before that the spouses purchased a land plot, which was sold to them on forged documents; therefore, they had no rights on the land plot and on the compensation for land alienation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Sochi boarding house "Neptune" houses Olympic resettlers and those who suffered from natural disasters, and are on the waiting list for new housing. Earlier, they complained to the prosecutor's office on their heavy living conditions.

Andrei and Natalia Martynov told that they came to Sochi in 2004 and bought a small house by the sea after selling their two-bedroom apartment in the city of Kirov.

During the "Olympic alienation" in 2009, they were informed that their documents on the land plot were false. Their appeal to the Sochi UVD (Interior Department) remains fruitless until now, although a criminal case on a large-scale fraud was opened; and a realtor from Bryansk was pit on the federal wanted list.

The court had no right to evict people in absentia into the street, without even informing them about the court session, said the lawyer Alexander Boichenko. According to his version, the people, trapped in such situation, should apply to the same court with a demand to cancel the wrong judgement.
