Residents of Chechnya report on raids of court marshals
In the Grozny District of Chechnya, court marshals carry out raids on forced collection of payments for municipal services, and in case of large debts, they levy distress on debtor's property. This was reported by local residents. According to court marshals, in the Grozny District, consumers' debts for utility services amount to hundreds of millions of roubles.
Local residents also note that debtors are provided with the possibility to repay their debts in instalments.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by an official from the Department for Chechnya of the Federal Court Marshal Service (known as FSSP) that in general, people treat the work of court marshals with understanding.
In general, since the beginning of 2016, in Chechnya, court marshals collected from debtors more than 134 million roubles of debts for utility services, reports the FSSP's Department for Chechnya. In 1059 cases, court marshals imposed arrests on debtors' property.
Residents of Grozny also reported about raids on debt collection in late November.
