Investigators refuse to recognize father of Gasanguseinov brothers a victim in cause of their killing

Investigators have failed to identify the persons suspected of killing the Gasanguseinov brothers in the village of Goor-Khindakh in the Shamil District. Meanwhile, the father of the Gasanguseinov brothers and representative of the family may not examine the case materials. This was reported by advocate Said Ibragimov. The authorities raise difficulties for gathering of local residents who intend to demand an objective investigation into the case, claim members of the working group.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 13, the gathering concerning the investigation into the killing of the Gasanguseinov brothers was cancelled because of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) announced on November 11.

At the meeting held on November 13, Said Ibragimov, an advocate of the family of the killed Gasanguseinov brothers, said that members of the working group did not want to speak publicly because of pressure put on them.

According to the advocate, the authorities requested from the coordinator of the working group "to provide all personal information and mobile phone numbers of the members of the working group."

The working group members have said they hope only for journalists, since any of their attempts to organize the gathering is treated by the authorities as an illegal action.

The advocate also accused the investigators of inaction.
