In Quarter 2 of 2015, 26 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Dagestan

In Dagestan in April-June 2015 the victims of the armed conflict began at least 26 people - all died. These are the results of calculations of the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other public sources.

Among those killed - 2 officers from security agencies, 2 peaceful citizens and 22 people involved, according to law enforcement, illegal armed groups.

The above statistics can not reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims at each of the specified categories in the survey. Not all data is written to news reports. It is not always possible to verify how true the statement of law enforcement. In addition, often new facts about the events of the reporting period become known after the publication of statistics on the "Caucasian Knot".

Recall that in the first quarter of 2015, victims of the conflict began at least 32 people, including 28 killed and 4 injured.

In 2014 Dagestan retained first place in the total number of victims of the armed conflict among the regions of the North Caucasus. During the year there have suffered at least 293 people, including 208 died and 85 were injured. Among pogibshih- 24 civilians, 21 security official and 163 persons involved, according to law enforcement, to the armed underground activities. Among the wounded - 15 civilians and 70 security forces.

In 2013, the total number of victims has reached 641 people, of which 341 people were killed and at least 300 injured. Among the victims - 206 civilians (82 killed and 124 wounded), 253 officers from security agencies (88 killed and 165 wounded) and 182 suspected militants (171 killed and 11 wounded). Thus, the total number of victims in 2014 compared with 2013 year fell by 54.3% in Dagestan.
