In Quarter 2 of 2016, one person fell victim to armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria

In April-June 2016, in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, there was one victim of the armed conflict. These are the findings of the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Meanwhile, in Quarter 1 of 2016, four people suffered in the course of the armed conflict: three militants were killed and one law enforcer was wounded.

The above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the real number of victims. Not all the data gets into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the truthfulness of law enforcers' statements; and sometimes new data about the events of the reporting period become known after the publication of statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

In 2015, at least 48 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria, 47 of them were killed and one person was wounded.

Note of the "Caucasian Knot" of February 16, 03:36 MSK: The results of the calculations have been revised.
