Today, in Yerevan, the rally in support of the group "Sasna Tsrer" (Daredevils of Sassoun) has been attended by more than 500 people. This was reported by the organizers of the event.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since July 17, in Yerevan, the building of the patrol-and-post service of the police regiment was held captured by members of the armed group "Sasna Tsrer", whose number included supporters of the opposition movement "Constituent Parliament". On July 31, the members of the group "Sasna Tsrer" surrendered. The charges are brought against 47 persons, and three members of the Coordinating Council of the "Sasna Tsrer" are arrested for two months.

The opposition has announced the territory of Freedom Square as free and declared that anyone can deliver a speech to address the protesters, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Participants of the rally have demanded to release the arrested oppositionists, including, in particular, Andris Gukasyan, Armen Martirosyan, and David Sanasaryan. According to them, the authorities carry out repression to isolate those people who disagree with their policies.

After the rally, the opposition supporters carried out a march along the central streets of Yerevan. The march was accompanied by about 50 police officers. Demonstrators chanted the names of members of the group "Sasna Tsrer" and demanded the resignation of President Serzh Sargsyan.
