Police unit shelled in Dagestan
Today, several militants have mined a relay tower in the Shamil District, and then shelled a police unit; no one of the policemen suffered, according to Dagestani law enforcement sources.
According to the sources, the police unit in the Shamil District of Dagestan was shelled tonight.
"Several militants shelled and then mined the relay tower in the Shamil District. The sound of the shots attracted the attention of policemen, and they were also shelled by the militants," the "Interfax" quotes its law enforcement source from the district.
According to law enforcement sources, "as a result of the shelling, none of the power agents suffered: they all were inside an armoured vehicle."
