Mother of conscript talks of humiliation of new soldiers in military unit of Krasnodar

A mother of a soldier from Krasnoyarsk has appealed to the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Military District and to a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of her region with a complaint. The woman has stated that her son is subjected to systematic beatings in the Krasnodar military unit. Deputy Yuri Shvytkin has promised to check the fact of humiliation.

On March 1, Lyubov Prokopieva, a mother of a 21-year-old conscript, has complained to Krasnoyarsk journalists about the abuse of his son.

According to the woman, senior soldiers use physical force against her son, who took the oath in last December. Besides, the young man, who needed shoes of 48th size, was given too little boots, and as a result, he was hospitalized, the State TV and Radio Company (STRC) "Krasnoyarsk" reports.

Pensioner Lyubov Prokopieva has also sent a complaint to the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Military District and appealed for help to Yuri Shvytkin, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory who promised to check the fact of humiliation.
