On January 8, the court arrested Gadjimurad Gazichilov, a resident of Makhachkala, whose disappearance was earlier reported by his relatives. He is suspected of illegal possession of firearms and is kept at the SIZO (pre-trial prison), said a police source from the city of Buynaksk.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Gadjimurad Gazichilov disappeared on December 29, 2015. His relatives stated a possible kidnapping and pointed that he is a close relative to Shamil Nurmagomedov, who had disappeared with power agents killed in Dagestan.

Gadjimurad Gazichilov has been arrested by judgement of the Buynaksk City Court for one month; the official charge has not been brought against him, the police source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.

Information about his arrest was confirmed by a source close to Gadjimurad Gazichilov. According to his version, the detention became known on January 6, and on January 8 the court passed the above judgement.

According to law enforcement bodies, at detention, cartridges and a grenade were found on Gazichilov.
