Stavropol power agents broke Kadyrov's monopoly to use violence in Chechnya

The murder of Djambulat Dadaev in the course of a special operation in Grozny has directly touched on the issue of the monopoly on the power and use of violence in Chechnya. This was the comment of Ekaterina Sokiryanskaya, the head of the Russian Office of the International Crisis Group, on Ramzan Kadyrov's statement that militants had used the uniform of law enforcers. Kadyrov continued his tough exchange of statements with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 19, Djambulat Dadaev, who was on the federal wanted list, was shot dead in Grozny. On April 21, the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov criticized the actions of Stavropol operative agents, stating that nobody shell have the right to conduct special operations in the territory of Chechnya without the consent of local authorities. He also allowed his power agents to open fire to kill at participants of uncoordinated special operations. On April 23, the Russian MIA treated these words as unacceptable. In response, Kadyrov said that he was ready to resign from his post.

"For many years, Chechen power agents find great joy in murdering, torturing and illegally imprisoning people in the same manner. Therefore, this story is not about the Chechen Dadaev, who is cared about by his president, but about the monopoly on power and violence in Chechnya," Ekaterina Sokiryanskaya wrote ob her page in the Facebook.

Let us note here that the Governor of the Stavropol Territory said that he knew about all special operations conducted in the territory, since he allocates the necessary resources to carry them out, the "Interfax" reports.
