In Sochi, at construction of "Fisht" Stadium, worker perished and two others seriously injured
On Wednesday, at the construction of the "Fisht" Olympic Stadium, a worker perished as a result of falling from a height. Two other workers are in hospital in grave condition.
According to the preliminary information, the tragedy was caused by break of the rope with attached basket with the workers, who were assembling metal frameworks at the "Fisht" Stadium. As a result of the fall, one worker died, and two others were seriously injured, the "Max-Portal" reports.
The injured workers were brought to the Sochi Regional Hospital, and doctors estimate their condition as serious.
The Sochi investigating authorities have launched an inquiry into the reason of the incident.
