Khasavyurt administration raises funds to pay off debts for electricity
In Dagestan, in Khasavyurt, the city authorities have started urgent fund-raising with people and businesses to pay off the accrued debts for electricity. This was reported by Nurmagomed Nurmagomedov, an official from the city administration.
Let us remind you that on October 2, water supply to Khasavyurt was stopped. The city enterprise "Gorvodokanal" is indebted to the company "Dagenergoset", and the latter had to reduce the pump power. This was reported by Gasan Yusupkadiev, City Prosecutor.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the above Nurmagomed Nurmagomedov that as of September 1, the amount of debt outstanding for the current year reached 29.7 million roubles. On September 27, the Company "Dagenergoset" sent a formal appeal to Saigidpasha Umakhanov, Mayor of Khasavyurt.
The appeal has emphasized that in Khasavyurt, consumers of electricity, including the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Gorvodokanal", association of apartment owners, housing and utilities enterprises, city marketplaces and city residents were continuously failing to pay the bills for the consumed electric energy.
The official from the Khasavyurt administration has emphasized that almost all large enterprises and marketplaces have paid for utilities; however, "city residents are hardly persuaded." Objects of the OJSC "Gorvodokanal" will not be connected to the power supply until at least part of the debt is paid off.
Every day, in Khasavyurt, 14-15 special vehicles deliver drinking water for the city residents. The Civil Defence Department for Emergencies of the city administration takes active participation in the events.
