Investigation of the case of ex-Head of the Government of Kabardino-Balkaria accomplished

Investigation of the case of ex-Prime Minister of Kabardino-Balkaria Ivan Gerter suspected of swindle has been accomplished. Until the end of February the case will be referred to court, Head of Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia in the republic Valery Ustov informed today.

Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that according to the investigation’s version, Ivan Gerter was illegally put on the waiting list of persons in need of housing improvement after which he received a flat of four rooms in Prokhladnoye as service housing. In May of 2010 the flat was illegally transferred to his ownership. In March of 2011 Gerter sold the flat getting 2,5 million roubles for it. On November, 12, a criminal case was initiated against Gerter according to clause “Swindle” of the Criminal Code.

“The flat of four rooms at the cost of 2,5 million rubles was misappropriated”, Ustov explained.

“In the nearest future Gerter will start studying the materials of the criminal case. The case will be referred to court till the end of February”, Ustov said.
