Identity of the suicide bomber who blasted himself in August of 2011 in Chechnya established
Resident of Zavodskoy district of the capital of Chechnya Yusup Khamburaev was one of the three suicide bombers who blasted themselves on August, 30, 2011, in Grozny, representatives of law enforcement bodies of the republic state.
Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that in the evening of August, 30, 2011, three participants of armed underground committed suicidal acts of terror in series in Grozny. Seven members of power ministries and two local residents perished then. Besides, 24 officers of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and three civilians got wounded.
“Yusup Khamburaev was considered missing since April of 2009 and now it emerged that the “missing” man joined the gang of Gakaev brothers and two years after his “disappearance” became a suicide bomber”, an officer of Chechen police explained.
According to him, several forensic inquiries were carried out and over 600 persons interrogated to establish his identity.
“Identity of his accomplices, Magomed Dadashev and Adlan Khamidov, was established yet in 2011. All the three suicide bombers were members of Hussein Gakaev’s gang and committed suicidal acts of terror upon his order”, the policeman says.
