Executive Department of the Olympic Committee of Russia accepted Ahmed Bilalov’s resignation
Executive Department of the Olympic Committee of Russia (OCR) dismissed Chairman of the Council of Assistance to OCR Ahmed Bilalov.
Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that during his visit to Sochi and inspection of the objects of the Olympic Games of 2014 President of Russia Vladimir Putin expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of construction of the complex of springboards “Russkie Gorki”. He also ordered to dismiss Ahmed Bilalov from all his offices.
“During the session of Executive Department of OCR Ahmed Bilalov’s request of dismissal from the office of Chairman of the Council of Assistance to OCR and Vice President of OCR was considered. Upon the results of the session Executive Department decided to dismiss Bilalov from office”, officials of OCR Press Service informed adding that Bilalov was also automatically discharged from the office of Vice President of the Committee and member of Executive Department of the organization.
Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that Bilalov himself produced no comment on the criticism against him. However, he wrote in his page on the Facebook that the “springboards is still the only Olympic object having a certificate of International Ski Federation (ISF).
