CEC: 60,05% of the electorate voted at the presidential election of Armenia
According to the final data of CEC of Armenia, turnout of voters at the presidential election made 60,05%.
1 988 polling stations were opened. As of 14:00, 33,09% of the electorate took part in the voting, by 17:00 there were 49,81%. Voting ended at 20:00 Moscow time.
At 21:00 Moscow time Chairman of CEC of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan announced the data of turnout of voters received already after the end of voting. According to this data, 1 518 407 electors, i.e. 60,05% of the electorate, voted at the presidential election.
Tigran Mukuchyan reported that preliminary results of voting would be available at 22:00, February, 19.
According to the results of exit polling carried out by the Gallup Organization, the incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan who polled 58% of the electors’ votes is winning the presidential election of Armenia. Candidate from “Nasledie” party Raffi Ovannisyan with 32% votes is in the second position. Then follow Paruir Airikyan and Grant Bagratyan with 3% votes. The rest of the candidates polled 1% votes each.
