"Heritage" Party claims its activists beaten in Yerevan during pre-election campaign

On February 13, two young activists of the "Heritage" Party were beaten while distributing leaflets calling to vote for Raffi Ovannisyan, a candidate for the position of Presidential of Armenia. This was reported by Ovsep Khurshudyan, press secretary of the "Heritage" Party.

The attack took place on February 13 at about 04:00 p.m. in the administrative district of Achapnyak in Yerevan.

According to the Ovsep Khurshudyan's report, the attackers were two men, the "News.am" reports.

Other details of the incident were not reported, and the information on the health state of the victims is still unavailable. The "Heritage" Party has filed a complaint about the incident to the police, and the investigation is underway, the agency "News-Armenia" reports.
