Court arrests suspects of attempting presidential candidate Airikyan for two months
The court in Yerevan has granted the motion of the investigation and ordered the arrest the Armenian citizens Khachatur Pogosyan and Samvel Arutyunyan on suspicion of an attempt on presidential candidate Paruir Airikyan.
The court session, at which the measure of freedom restriction for them was defined, took place on February 10 at the court of general jurisdiction of the administrative districts of Yerevan named Kentron and Nork-Marash; the session was chaired by Gayane Karakhanyan and was held closed to the public, the "News.am" reports.
The judge satisfied the motion of the Investigating Body of the National Security Service, and appointed a two-month arrest.
The arrested persons were delivered to the penal institutions "Centre" of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, the "Gazeta.ru" reports,
So far, there are no comments of the suspects or their representatives.
