Investigators suspect Yakub Khashagulgov, detained in Ingushetia, of banditry
The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported today that Yakub Khashagulgov, who was detained in Ingushetia, is suspected of aiding the members of the criminal grouping responsible for the attack in the central marketplace of Vladikavkaz.
The website of the ICRF reports that Khashagulgov was detained as part of investigative actions of the activities in Ingushetia of the criminal grouping named "Vilayah Galgaiche"; according to investigators, he provided the bandits with ammunition and weapons.
According to Lakhan Khashagulgov, the detainee's father, criminal cases are deliberately fabricated against members of his family. "We had information that the authorities instructed law enforcers to find or fabricate incriminating materials in order to prevent us to be engaged in public affairs and business," the organization "Mekhk-Kkhel quotes Lakhan Khashagulgov's statement.
He also said that Yakub was detained on his way home from the prayer; then, Lakhan Khashagulgov's house was surrounded by power agents and military equipment; in the course of the search, "the beat grandchildren" and took away from the house "everything they could."
