Yakub Khashagulgov detained in Ingushetia
During searches in Ingushetia, Yakub Khashagulgov was detained. A relative of the detainee appealed for help to the authorities and human rights defenders.
On February 8, in the village of Yandare of the Nazran District, a search was carried out at the house of Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov, a member of the public movement "Mekhk-Kkhel". This was reported by Serazhdin Sultygov, another member of the organization. At the same day, one more search was conducted at the house property of Isa, a relative of the Khashagulgov family, in Karabulak. This was reported by another source.
Representatives of law enforcement bodies did not allow anyone to approach the place of searches. At that time, contact with Yakub Khashagulgov was lost.
According to the information of the Yakub Khashagulgov's relatives, at present, he is kept at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) of Vladikavkaz. He is not allowed to be visited by advocates. His relatives fear that he will be subjected to pressure, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Pyatimat Khashagulgova, the owner of one of the houses of the Khashagulgov family, which was searched, appealed for help and interference in the situation to Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of Ingushetia, P. Belyakov, to Prosecutor of the Republic, and to human rights organizations.
