During the week of January 7-13, 2013, at least ten persons suffered in the course of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus; of them, six persons were killed and four wounded. These are the results of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
The death toll includes five suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs): three of them were killed in Kabardino-Balkaria and two in Dagestan, and one law enforcement agent was killed in Dagestan.
One should understand that the above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims in each of the identified categories of the survey. Not all the data get into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the reliability of statements made by law enforcement bodies.
