Russia and Georgia exchange permits for passage of trucks across border
Russia and Georgia have issued permits for passing of ground transport vehicles across the border. This was stated on January 11 by Georgy Kvirikashvili, Minister of Economy of Georgia.
"There is still the problem of visas. Unfortunately, our carriers have to hire the drivers who have Russian visas," the "Georgia-Online" quotes Georgy Kvirikashvili as saying.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Economy has emphasized that the Ministry of Economy does not lead the issues of restoration of economic relations with Russia.
Georgy Kvirikashvili has reminded that the sphere is under the supervision of Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of the Georgian Prime Minister for the normalization of relations with the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia, the "News-Georgia" reports.
