In Georgia, snow isolates 30 villages
In the Dusheti District of Georgia, heavy snowfall cut off 30 villages from the outside world. Traffic on the roads to the villages is very difficult, and there is a danger of avalanches.
"To get there until the spring will be possible only by a helicopter. The most difficult situation is in the villages of rural communities of Shatili, Ukana Pshavi, and Barisakho. At present, because of heavy snowfall, cleaning of roads does not make sense there," the "Georgia-Online" quotes Rezo Karmazanashvili, the acting head of the administration of Dusheti.
In the Dusheti District of Georgia, power lines have been damaged, and a number of villages have problems with power supply. Some villages have problems with heating. The height of the snow cover in the region reaches up to one meter, the "Trend" reports.
