80 young people from Syria enrolled on preparatory course of KBSU
In the Kabardino-Balkarian State University (KBSU), 80 young persons from Syria who arrived in Nalchik on the eve of the New Year started their studies. This was reported by Anatoly Kodzokov, the head of the Foreign Relations Department of the KBSU.
"Given the situation in Syria, the republic's leaders have decided to enroll 120 compatriots from this country on the preparatory course for extra-budgetary funding," Anatoly Kodzokov has said.
According to his information, the number of arrived students includes Adygs and Balkars, and also one Russian. At present, the KBSU expects arrival of more 40 young persons.
Immigrants from Syria were accommodated at the dormitory, and each of them is to receive maintenance allowances of 1200 roubles, the maintenance allowance at the KBSU, Anatoly Kodzokov has explained.
