Ingushetia opens first ski route

On January 25, Ingushetia will open the first ski route "Armkhi". The upper station of the ski route is located on the altitude of 1550 meters above sea level, and its length is 1200 meters.

The project of the ski route provides several skiing areas, in particular areas for amateurs of slalom, snowboarders and beginners. Points of rental of ski equipment and of lift landing will be located next to the medicinal spa "Armkhi".

The trial run on the new ski route will be performed on January 15, and cable way and snowmaking system will be tested. This was reported by the official website of the Republic of Ingushetia with reference to Salman Dzangiev, Managing Director of the group "Akropol".

On January 4, the construction of the ski resort "Armkhi" was visited by Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of the republic. He ordered to ensure decent service at the ski resort and affordable prices for all services. Yunus-Bek Evkurov also announced that on the opening day, people will be skiing on the new ski route for free, the "ITAR-TASS" reports.
