A witness on the case of Budanov’s murder denied the information of being kidnapped

Today in Moscow the defence of Yusup Temerkhanov suspected of murder of colonel Yuri Budanov accused secret services of kidnapping witness Alexander Evtukhov. Evtukhov himself denied the information of his disappearance.

Evtukhov twice tried to go to Barnaul by plane, first from the airport of “Domodedovo” on January, 14, where he was detained by unknown persons and today from “Sheremetievo” but did not come on board there, the defendant’s attorney Murad Musaev told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent. According to him, another attorney Alexander Egorov was told that he was “taken by some FSB people” in “Sheremetievo” airport but there is no official information”.

“The investigators and local police are unable to establish the witness’ location. It is the sheerest sabotage. Now they will hold him back until the end of the trial or else he will be brought to court, maybe to the next session on January, 21, but already “worked over”, the lawyer said.

“I never got lost, I just changed my phone number”, Alexander Evtukhov, in his turn, said to representatives of Russian Agency of Legal and Juridical Information.

The point of the evidence Evtukhov had to give in court was description of the murderer’s appearance whom he discerned. “Evtukhov describes the marksman as a guy of about 25 or 30, about 175 cm tall, fair-haired. This has nothing in common with the appearance of defendant Yusup Temerkhanov who is apparently a dark-haired man, tall (undoubtedly over 185 cm) and thin”, Musaev wrote of the Facebook.
