Dagestani police are still searching for two missing Buynaksk students
The whereabouts of the two female students of the Buynaksk Teachers' College, who disappeared on May 17, is still unknown. A criminal case on their disappearance is not yet instituted, as the law enforcement bodies have no information that the girl had been abducted or detained, said the MIA of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the 4-year students of the above college Layuza Gaidarbekova and Aina Abdulkadyrova left home on May 17 at about midday and never returned. The girls rented a flat near the college, at No. 70 Kumukhsky Street. On May 28, their parents turned to the police for help.
As reported by Fatina Ubaidatova, the spokesperson for the Department of Information and Public Relations of the MIA of Dagestan, photos and descriptions of the missing girls have been sent to all police posts, patrol crews, as well as to television and Internet websites; however, so far, there are no results.
Relatives of the girls ask anyone who knows their whereabouts, to communicate by the "hotline" phone number of the Dagestani MIA (98-48-48), the on duty unit of the MIA (99-45-00) and OVD (Interior Division) of Buynaksk (99-48-13, 99-67-68).
It is known that the missing students were Avars and came from the mountainous area of Dagestan, said Zarema Bagautdinova from the DRPA "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
