Major fire near Orekhov Waterfalls extinguished in Sochi
The spokesman of the Sochi City Fire Department has reported that the fire in the national park near Orekhov Waterfalls was extinguished.
The fire was suppressed today after 2:00 p.m. Moscow time; the success was complemented by a strong rain, a source from the above Department told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Villagers of Plastunka have confirmed the information about the elimination of the fire. "No smoke and flames are visible; it's raining heavily," said one of them.
