On December 24-30, 19 people suffered in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In the course of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, during the week from December 24 to December 30, 2012, at least 19 people were affected. Of them, 15 persons were lost, and four others were wounded. These are the results of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and on information from other open sources.
The death toll includes 13 suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) – 10 in Dagestan and three in Kabardino-Balkaria, and two civilians – one in Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia each.
One should understand that the above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims in each of the identified categories of the survey. Not all the data get into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the reliability of statements made by law enforcement bodies.
