In Yerevan, trial of ecologist Nersisyan postponed till June 10

In Yerevan, the court postponed the court session on the lawsuit filed by the company "Dino Gold Mining" against ecologist Yeghiya Nersisyan till June 10. The court session scheduled for May 13 was not held because of illness of Tigran Yegoryan and Lusine Akopyan, advocates of the ecologist.

The court session of the general jurisdiction court of the administrative districts of Kanaker-Zeitun was postponed at the request of Yeghiya Nersisyan, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Let us remind you that the lawsuit was caused by the speech delivered by Yeghiya Nersisyan at the meeting with representatives of the Armenian Diaspora in the United States held on December 14, 2012, when the ecologist, in particular, said: "Do you know how about the foreigners' attitude to Armenia? For example, the Canadian 'Gold Company' in Kapan uses electric shock to ensure that the workers do not sleep twenty-four-hour and can work."

The company "Dino Gold Mining" accuses Yeghiya Nersisyan of disseminating defamation and libel and demands that he should refute his statement.

At the court session held on May 13, Gevorg Akopyan, the defender of the company "Dino Gold Mining", has presented to the court a laser CD, which, according to the lawyer, contains of innocence of the company.
