Five Syrian refugees deported from Russia to Jordan

Five Circassians-refugees from Syria have been deported to Jordan from the Moscow Airport "Domodedovo".

"Part of the group of Circassian refugees from Syria, detained on December 16 at the "Domodedovo" Airport in Moscow, on December 18 was deported to Jordan. Among them – an 80-year-old woman," a user of the "Caucasian Knot" has reported by means of the SMS service.

On December 16, a group of ten Circassians-refugees from Syria arrived at the "Domodedovo" Airport from Jordan. Only five of them could pass through the customs checkpoint and arrive safely in the Republic of Adygea; while Aslankori Dambot and his pregnant wife Lara Dugazh, Movira Khasan (aged 80), Zulfiya Takakh (60), as well as Nalbiy Khussein could not pass the border checkpoint for unknown reasons, the "NatPress" reports.

"We failed to find reasons for abolition of visas; and our two-day chores were in vain," said Asker Shkhalakhov, the Chairman of the Committee on Nationalities Relations with Compatriots and Media of Adygea.

Mr Shkhalakhov has specified that not all the members of the group were flying to Adygea. "Only Aslankori Dambot and his pregnant wife Lara Dugazh were coming here. Three of the refugees, namely, Movira Khasan (80 years old), Zulfiya Takakh (60) and Nalbiy Khussein were going to Nalchik," he said.
