Abdullaev: three persons left STRC "Kabardino-Balkaria" after Gekkiev's murder

The murder of the TV presenter Kazbek Gekkiev did not entail any mass resignation of employees of the State TV and Radio Company (STRC) "Kabardino-Balkaria". To date, only three out of one hundred and eighty employees have submitted their voluntarily resignation applications, said Kamal Abdullaev, Deputy Director of the STRC, which is a branch of the All-Russian TV and Radio Company.

"As of today, three employees have resigned. They refused to reveal the reasons; and I don't want to make suppositions. Their applications told: 'I leave on my own will'," Kamal Abdullaev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Abdullaev said that resignation of three employees out of one hundred and eighty people had no effect on the work of the staff. "Our close-knit and friendly team continues working; we do it in particular in memory of Kazbek," said the deputy director of the STRC "Kabardino-Balkaria."

Earlier, "Komsomolskaya Pravda" wrote that seven employees of the STRC had asked for resignation. Abdullaev said that this information is not true.
