Eleven natives of Northern Caucasus detained in Moscow
In the park of the December Uprising in the Presnya District of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, 11 natives of Northern Caucasus were detained. The police suspect them of robbery.
According to the police, the detainees attacked three persons and tried, by threatening with traumatic guns and a truncheon, to take away their personal belongings.
At detention, the Caucasians were deprived of three traumatic pistols and a telescopic truncheon, the "Interfax" reports today with reference to the Chief Interior Department for Moscow of the Russian MIA.
It is not specified under what circumstances the natives from Northern Caucasus were detained, from what particular regions they had come to Moscow and when exactly the incident occurred that caused their detention.
Currently, the above Department is conducting a check, on the results of which the procedural decision will be made, the ITAR-TASS reports.
