In Pyatigorsk, on May 1, Timur Magomedov, a resident of the Stavropol Territory was kidnapped, said his relative Ilmutdin Kairbekov, a resident of Buynaksk, who turned for help to the Dagestani Regional Public Association (DRPA) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
"In the evening on May 1, at about 10:10 p.m., an acquaintance brought my wife's relative Timur Magomedov to the house located at 19 Vinogradnaya Street, Vinsady village, Pyatigorsk, Predgorny District, where Timur was renting a room. He dropped him off and went home," Ilmutdin Kairbekov wrote in his application.
The acquaintance, who brought Timur home, could hardly drive away and became an eyewitness of the kidnapping.
"When he had driven some distance away, he could see in the rear-view mirror some men jump out of two cars, who began beating Timur; then, they pushed him into one of their cars and drove away. The hostess of the house, where Timur was renting a room, also saw the incident. They went to the police; then, policemen came to search Timur's room and confiscated his laptop and some other things," says the application.
Timur Magomedov has been living in the Stavropol Territory from his birth; and he was working as a loader at a dairy in the village of Vinsady for about three months, his relative told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that Timur Magomedov is married and has two children.
