150 bikers attend international bike rally in Vladikavkaz
Within the first international gathering of owners of BMW motorcycles, bikers from different countries arrived in Vladikavkaz, in the capital of North Ossetia they were joined by local motorcyclists. The bike rally "Moscow-Vladikavkaz" lasted for three days.
On May 1, more than 150 motorcyclists gathered in Theatre Square in Vladikavkaz; they came from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Russia to take part in a rally in support of the sport of wrestling that took place there.
The first signature against exclusion of the sport from the Olympic programme was put by the head of the republic Taimuraz Mamsurov, who visited the gathering of bikers.
Sergey Ilyanov, the chairman of the Russian club of BMW motorcyclists, thanked the residents of the republic for their hospitality. "We decided to hold this action in Vladikavkaz just for everyone to realize that very hospitable people live here," said Sergey Ilyanov.
