In Georgia, staff of Chokhatauri hospital goes on strike
In the district centre of Chokhatauri, staff members of the local hospital went on strike, demanding to pay wage arrears. The health professionals state that the strike will last till their demands are fulfilled.
The hospital stopped accepting patients.
In Chokhatauri, doctors of ambulances are going to join the protest action, the "Interpress News" reports on May 1 with reference to representatives of the hospital personnel.
The health professionals accuse the Company "Aditi" of wage arrears. According to them, the Company fails to fulfil its obligations, and the demands of the protesters include the demand to deprive the Company of its right to manage the hospital and to return it under the jurisdiction of the state, the "Georgia Online" reports.
