Explosion in Makhachkala kills two pupils of City Lyceum No. 5
As reported today by a source from the Investigatory Department (ID) for Dagestan of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the casualties of the today's explosion in Makhachkala were identified as pupils of Lyceum No. 5.
Let us remind you that the explosion occurred in Irchi Kazak Street outside the shop "Interskol" near the Lenin District Prosecutor's Office. According to the police, apart from the two casualties, two more persons were wounded; their lives are out of danger.
A source from the above ID told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent: "The casualties were the fourth-grade students of Makhachkala Lyceum No. 5, both were 10 years old. One of the wounded persons, a 47-year-old resident of Makhachkala was wounded in his shoulder; the other one, born in 1973, was wounded in his thigh."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, citing the NAC, that the explosion at the "Interskol" could be an attempt to intimidate its owner, since earlier an explosive device was already found near it, an eyewitness of the explosion has explained.
